How did you become a designer/artist?

I knew since I was a little girl, that I wanted to be an artist.

Where are you from originally?

I consider being from both Okayama, Japan, and Northern California.

What are you doing now?

I'm working on a diptych that is comprised of two 4-foot-square panels. I'm finishing up a quadriptych that is made of four 2 by 4 foot panels.

What are your plans for the future?

I am looking for a larger studio, as the work seems to be growing larger and larger.

What American artist inspires you most?

I admire Richard Serra very much.

What unlocks your creativity?

Meditation.
